"Art has always been an outlet for me, a form of meditation and a place of peace and joy. I have gravitated to painting for most of my life, I love the color and texture of painting. I spent about 5-6 years creating mosaic art and while I loved it, I feel like it was a stepping stone for my current medium of soft pastels.

“My experiences with oil and acrylic painting taught me about color while working in stone and glass in mosaics taught me to look at the flow of both the animate and inanimate world.

“My pastels are a culmination of my artistic endeavors over my lifetime. I specialize in pet portraits and landscapes, however I am always trying new subjects that catch my eye.”
